AKTO’s recognition and placement in the top 11 Design schools internationally is a new academic achievement for 2014. AKTO is the only College in Greece which is a member of the Cumulus International Association of Universities and Colleges of Art, Design and Media (www.cumulusassociation.org).
Cumulus Association, in collaboration with the Ottagono magazine, which serves quality and originality in Design for many decades, organized the “Future Talents 2014” competition, aiming to promote new talented designers.
Each School-member of the Association proposed up to two candidates, who were invited to participate with their works, on the topic “well-being”, combining design, services design and making use of digital technologies.
Our graduate Aristotle Barakos, participated in the competition by submitting a total of four projects and his originality and impressive work, was easily awarded, amongst many notable international participations.
We are proud of the achievements of our graduates, opening new horizons in Art and Design. In confirmation of the academic work produced at the College, we enjoy this special recognition of AKTO as one of the top 11 Design Schools internationally for 2014. View relative link here.
It is important to note that this recognition follows the 2013 recognition achieved by AKTO. According to a research undertaken by DOMUS Magazine, AKTO was ranked in the top 100 European educational institutions for Architecture & Design.
